With the help of her best friend Aisha, classmate Jamie, and her fiercely demanding acting coach Miss Monroe, Destiny is forced to choose between hiding behind obedience or standing tall in her truth. The film blends emotional drama, vibrant musicality, and comedic chaos, culminating in a final showcase that becomes both a performance and a reckoning. The film integrates dreamlike performance sequences with the lived experience of diaspora youth in contemporary London.
