Tottenham Rules! follows the intertwined lives of three close friends Bangali, Roshawn, and Kishaw as they navigate the challenges, temptations, and opportunities of life in Tottenham. Bangali is determined to create a better future for himself and his family, while Roshawn’s loyalty to the streets and Kishaw’s unpredictable humour both test and strengthen their bond.
The boys find sanctuary in the restaurant run by Augushia, Bangali’s strong-willed mother, whose wisdom and resilience anchor the local community. Overseeing them all is Winston, a once-feared street legend turned mentor, striving to keep the next generation from repeating his mistakes.
But when Bangali is falsely accused in a violent incident, cracks begin to appear in the group’s unity. With local crews circling, police pressure mounting, and dreams of escape slipping away, the friends must decide where their true loyalties lie. Tensions at home and in the streets escalate, with Augushia fighting to protect her son and Winston risking his hard-won peace to guide them.
A complicated romance with Alisha a bright, ambitious student adds hope and complexity to Bangali’s journey, highlighting the push and pull between tradition and aspiration.
